I currently have a level 74 Mage, AoE grinding as frost, anyways my question is:
Is Arcane the best tree to spec in ? I’ve seen so many guide, videos, Blogs etc.. and most say arcane is excellent for Raid (PvE) and I’ve seen this video called “Boom” something in youtube and someother videos about Arc mages that are like terminators in BG owning every single thing with crazy damages and crits; but I have a feeling that they are outdated or something ? and I’ve read someone saying that in the 3.3.3 patch fire got buffed so it’s the best ? is that true ?
And umm i’ve been asking this question like crazy but is there a word or something that I can exchange it with Arcane ? planing to name my mage Arcmage (I have a stupid name so am going to change it)
Arcane is obviously the best PvE spec and for PvP it is the best burst dmg spec, one arcane blast with an arcane missles proc and the person is dead..it’s just that simple their attacks hit extremely hard but they eat up alot of mana at the same time. Fire was buffed yes, and quite a bit of frost pvp mages have turned to fire because it is higher base damage than frost so you can kill them before they get to you.
