Wow Druid Bear Form
Author: WP Kelly
So you just dinged Level 10 and you finally got Druid Bear Form! Good work! Now, how the heck do you play as a Bear? There some fundamental changes, obviously, in the playing style from your humanoid form vs. your new bear form. This is not the first time youll run across this as a Druid for when you get Aquatic, Cat, Travel, Flight, Moonkin and Tree forms you will need to learn a whole new style of play. Sounds tough but its not and it is so worth it! So lets take a very basic look at how to play as a Bear...
To get into Bear Form simply click the new little blue box with a paw in it at the bottom left of your screen. When you switch forms youll also notice that your bottom most tool bar will automatically change as well. You now have a set of tool bars specifically for Bear form so set these up as you see fit.
A couple of housekeeping points hereThe first thing youll want to do is go ahead and practice dancing in your Druid Bear Form (/dance). This will be an important social interaction in the game (not really) and is the primary source of comic relief when everyone is sitting around in a group waiting for the healer to get there. Secondly you will notice that the perspective on your computer screen is a little different. You may need to adjust the viewing angle (right click and hold then drag up or down) a little bit. Run around for a minute to get the idea and feel of the new viewing angle.
Now up at the top of your screen youll see that your blue mana bar had turned red. That is now your Rage Bar. Rage is kind like the mana for Bear form. The more you get hit the higher your rage goes. Most of the moves you will use in combat cost a certain amount of rage. When you first get Bear youll only have a few Feral attacks you can use. You start with the following: Growl which makes taunts creatures and enemies to attack you (a.k.a. aggro), Attack which is your most basic attack and Maul which is a heavier attack.
For your first fight in bear approach something a level or two below you to practice on. Target this hapless creature and approach from a distance while keeping an eye on the Growl icon. Once that icon brightens you are within range for growl. Click that and you'll see your target come running at youyou have successfully taunted your first creature. As that creature approaches click on the attack button to turn it on. Once your target is in range your Druid will begin hitting beating the crap out of it. Nice! Now watch your rage bar as you get hit the rage will build until the Maul attack is available. Once it is you can click on it and watch the big hit! At level 10 just wash-rinse-repeat until the mob is dead.
The big benefit of this form at low levels is the armor boost that helps you live longer as a young character. As you level you'll get all sorts of new Feral abilities that will make your Druid a shear terror on the battlefield!

WoW, What is the best kind of druid?
i just made a new druid as my first ally toon and am wanting to do mostly pvp and instances. now im wondering what kind of build i should use. but idk what is best for what i want to do. Resto, feral or balance. first off which does best DPS and second is it better to do greater DPS in a raid or instance or moderate DPS and moderate healing?
What is the differences and what is better WOW armor for feral druid?
Well im a 79 feral druid spec currently and i was wondering if someone knew some sites that depicted the different feral builds, and armors that are good… I want to start getting any items right now if i can…
What is the differences between the Tier armor and PVP or raid armor?
Go to World of Warcraft Fourms on http://www.wowhead.com, http://www.worldofwarcraft.com, or http://www.elitistjerks.com.
Any and ALL WoW questions can be answered there.
As for the differences in armor…
Tier armor has a “bonus set” which means if you get 2 pieces of the Tier it will give bonus X, and if you get 4 pieces you get bonus Y. You must have the same level tier piece. That means Tier(T) 7 and T7.5 bonus apply for eachother, if you have 2 pieces of T7 gear and 2 pieces of T7.5 gear you get the 4 piece bonus for the set. However the T7.5 gear will have better base stats than the T7 gear, Agility, Stamina, Strength, Attack Power etc…
PvP gear is for PvP. The main factor that makes it unique is that it has resilience. Resilience reduces the chance of being hit with a critical strike, how much that crit hits you for, and well as it reduces the amount that mana drains reduce your mana. You want PvP gear only if your going to PvP. Otherwise dont really bother getting it unless you have a lot of honor stored up.
Raid gear is just Epic gear that can only be aquired in that certain instance. In general Raids are more difficult than dungeons, and more people go, so better gear is given out. You can access Tier gear from raids if you get a tier armor piece dropped only by a certain few raid bosses.
Anyways thats a basic description of each, but yeah please if you are really this confused on the difference go to one of the fourm sites thats i posted above.
Goodluck and happy hunting

Old WoW Player Return, need help? Druid help….?
Okay so i am going to come back to playing WoW and have a few questions since the last time i played which was late december. Also when i get back on i am going to be a Night Elf Druid.
1) Is mining + skinning the best money making gathering professions? If not, what is?
2) What is a good realm with low/medium population and isn’t pvp?
3) What is a good feral leveling build? Also is it possible to have a good leveling and tanking build?
4) What are the two stats that a feral druid needs? Like a warlock is stamina and intellect. My guess is stamina + agility or stamina + strength.
5) Anything i should need to know?
Please for any help you give and if you give me good answers then i’ll give you best answer.
